Universidad Católica Boliviana “San Pablo” iv ABSTRACT From problems with work performance, to the arrival of new competitors and greater market demands, which forces companies to seek improvements, reinvent themselves and innovate; an improvement proposal was prepared for the company Importadora Hamacas. In order to know the current situation of the company Importadora Hamacas: An analysis of the current situation of the distribution center was carried out, to identify the critical points of the process of dispatching the products based on the problems in organization and control, technology, human resources, customer focus and management, which allows it to perform better. The causes that generate the deficiency in their working methods that lead to physical and administrative mismanagement are identified, however, only those that are considered vital are addressed, thus providing a proposal for improvement that consists of alternative solutions that face the problems. This improvement proposal provides quantitative benefits in terms of savings for overtime. And qualitative benefits in terms of a correct classification and distribution of products, which give a perception of cleanliness and order, training to staff and likewise, considerations about safe and adequate working conditions.
