DAVID LEONARDO ARAMAYO ANTEZANA vi UNIVERSIDAD CATÓLICA BOLIVIANA “SAN PABLO” SÍNTESIS DEL PROYECTO ABSTRACT This project was developed with the purpose of increasing the reliability of the Krauss Maffei 800 injection molding machine, based on the RCM 2 methodology, within the production process of the industrial bucket production line at INYECTEC S.A. For the development of a maintenance plan, it is first necessary to perform an analysis of the different failure modes of the machine, according to the history of failures and the supplier's recommendations, then it will be determined the design of a procedure with its respective controls for the execution of the maintenance plan. The project addresses the following chapters: Chapter I: Introduction and Objectives This chapter describes the characteristics of the company, such as the product portfolio, its organizational chart, etc. Data collection can be determined through observations, interviews and company documents. Based on these, the defects will be reflected in the problem tree, so that the central problem can be determined. Identifying the central problem to be addressed in the present, the general objectives and the specific objectives to be developed in the following chapters to solve the problem are established. The methods used to achieve the objectives have also been determined. Chapter II: Theoretical Framework The concepts and methodologies on which this project will be based will be defined by means of a bibliographic review. The objective of this chapter is to provide the reader with a previous understanding of certain terms related to the degree project. Chapter III: Characterization of the Production Line It details the activities and machinery in the production area, the product portfolio, the materials and inputs required for the production of the different products and the process flow diagram. Chapter IV: Diagnosis of the Maintenance Line In this chapter, the current state of the maintenance department is established by means of a series of tools and methodology that will allow determining the criticality of each of the injectors and the reliability.
