ABSTRACT E commerce (electronic commerce) in Bolivia particularly in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, is poorly developed. Wherever one is in the World Electronic Trading is booming costumers want to shop products safe, fast and saving money, using new technology and its current drive toward using the Internet where communications have no barriers. The quality of service is of utmost importance to customers, which has become a need to society in the actual World. The purpose of this report is to fulfill that need and is the basis of the feasibility analysis to develop a virtual commerce business of home products in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. To establish project feasibility the following studies and analysis were made: A market study of excess (unmet) demand. A study of size and location to establish site and quantity to offer. Engineering study to develop a service process. A study of Legal and organizing aspects. A study of Finances and economics. The analysis and results show the project as feasible. The economic, social and political conditions of the country favour this kind of private entrepreneurship which is not only looking for profits but to fulfill a social responsibility.
