VI ABSTRACT DESIGN OF “HOUSE OF CULTURE “FOR THE HONORABLE AUTONOMOUS MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF SAN JULIAN Cintia Arce Rodríguez The objective of this work is to design a House of Culture to preserve, strengthen and disseminate the culture of the municipality of San Julian, for the benefit of residents and visitors with the purpose of providing them with an adequate space for the creation, dissemination and exhibition of cultural expressions in the municipality. The methodology used consisted of a bibliographic review of primary sources, such as books, statistical data on the population, documents from the Autonomous Municipal Government and scientific articles. In addition, secondary sources, such as websites, were used, and then a field survey was conducted, with observation visits to the site, photographic record, physical survey of the land and its immediate surroundings, interviews with authorities and inhabitants, which allowed us to understand that the House of Culture will be an important facility that promotes development in terms of education and culture, strengthening citizen identity through the appreciation and respect for the customs that identify it. Architecture plays an important role in providing adequate spaces to promote and improve the quality of life of the users; it should be an adequate response to the needs of its future users and with which they can fully identify.
