V ABSTRACT HOME DESIGN “REFUGIO ESPERANZA” FOR BOYS AND GIRLS, FROM 6 TO 12 YEARS OLD, IN SANTA CRUZ DE LA SIERRA Advisor: Dr. Arq. Irma Miriam Chugar Zubieta This work aims to design a home for boys and girls from 6 to 12 years of age, for the "Refugio Esperanza" foundation in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, with architectural spaces appropriate to their requirements for accommodation, education, health and activities spiritual, in order to provide them with greater comfort and, consequently, a better quality of life. The methodology used was to review primary and secondary sources to obtain different qualitative and quantitative data related to the topic. Likewise, a field survey was carried out, through observation visits, photographic records, interviews with key people, in order to obtain a more accurate approach to the deficiencies to be treated and problems with the equipment. A children's home is an establishment that provides shelter, shelter and protection for minors on a full-time basis, in order to satisfy their basic needs (housing, food and education) and provide them with a dignified and adequate lifestyle. Therefore, this project must respond to such requirements to allow the adequate development of infants in their physical, psychological and social aspects.
