Irma Miriam Chugar Zubieta The objective of this work is to design a veterinary center with characteristics of sensorial architecture, with the purpose of avoiding the spread of diseases such as rabies, distemper, scabies, among others, and animal overpopulation. The methodology used was a literature review of primary and secondary sources. The primary ones include: the OIE-WHO report on the animal health system in Bolivia. In the secondary sources we quote: the National Service of Agricultural Health and Food Safety - SENASAG, with the objective of identifying quantitative and qualitative aspects regarding the subject. Likewise, field survey, physical surveying of the ground and its immediate surroundings, observation visits and photographic record were made. We conclude by understanding that a veterinary center is a labor establishment with great labor demand and professional projection, destined to provide health services in prevention and control of diseases in different specialties and care for animals that are sick or injured, it is also the place where they are performed minor and major surgeries (aesthetic and reproductive). Key words: Veterinary center, diseases, rabies, Santa Cruz de la Sierra.
