ABSTRACT DESIGN OF TOURIST INTERPRETATION CENTER IN SAN IGNACIO DE VELASCO Maira Esther Centellas Moreira EducationalTutor: Arq. Jimmy Toledo The present work aims to design a Tourism Interpretation Center in the Municipality of San Ignacio de Velasco, as a reference for the transmission of culture, with the purpose of increasing tourism development, through educational activities for incentivization, awareness and the care of heritage assets in the Municipality of San Ignacio de Velasco. The methodology used was a literature review of primary sources such as theses and articles on Interpretation Centers, and secondary sources such as physical survey of the land and interviews with public servants of the Municipal Autonomous Government of San Ignacio de Velasco to understand a little more about their needs. We conclude that interpretation centers are important spaces, where the culture and traditions of a community can be transmitted. Therefore it can be seen as a place of welcome and learning for visitors. Keywords: Interpretation Center, Culture, San Ignacio de Velasco.
