4 ABSTRACT EMERGENCY TRANSITORY HOUSING DESIGN CASE STUDY: CAMIRI Carl Alexis Guarana Espinoza Counselors: Dra. Arq. I. Miriam Chugar Zubieta Arq. Verónica Arellano Arq. Carlos Zapata The main objective of this work is to design a temporary emergency housing model for the city of Camiri, which will serve as a study base for future temporary emergency housing projects for other areas of Bolivia with similar climatological characteristics. It is for this reason that the transitory emergency housing project is thought with characteristics of adaptation to the environment with materials that are easy to obtain, in order to solve the habitability problem of families affected by natural or technological disasters. The methodology used consisted of a post-occupational analysis (APO) of the emergency housing built by the government in Yateirenda through visits to the site and surveys carried out on those affected, as well as a literature review of primary, secondary and tertiary sources. , for a correct interpretation of technical data that grant us the emergency transitory housing design guidelines adapted to the socioeconomic environment of the place. Although there is an emergency housing plan in the State Agency of Housing (AEvivienda), it is executed in a time longer than 12 months, while the families affected who lose their homes, must live in overcrowding and find a place where to be able to live, arriving at the conclusion and necessity of the design of temporary emergency housing that gives immediate solution to the problem of habitability to victims until they accede to better conditions of definitive housing.
