ABSTRACT This document consists of a administrative consultancy for MINALOE S.R.L., a company based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Minaloe’s business is the production and retail of cosmetics made from Aloe Vera. The first step in the consultancy was to run an analysis of the strategic and marketing departments, in an attempt to determine whether the company had clear corporate strategic planning. This first step also included conducting market research. The next step was to analyze the upper management, corporate structure and human resources department, to then look into the organization’s main processes and conduct a financial evaluation. The study has successfully accomplished these objectives, and has resulted in a proposal for improving the identified problems within the business using administrative tools. The proposal for each of the departments studied goes as follows: for the marketing department it is recommended that the company shift its strategy to try and penetrate further into the established markets for each of their product lines. For management it’s advised to change the corporate structure in order to take advantage of the new strategic shift and also hire additional employees. Finally it is advised that the company purchase new software for finance, so as to better control the company’s actions. In this sense the proposal completes the initial objective and lends special knowledge to aid upper management in fulfilling the company’s goals.
