ABSTRACT The present work was developed based on the observation of the situation of investment arbitration in Bolivia, as an adequate material for the peaceful solution of conflicts with foreign investors. The research problem is summarized in the possibility of admitting a specialized jurisdiction for investment arbitration under the framework of integration processes and the protection of Law N°708, to guarantee foreign investment. As a result of this, the main objective was to determine if there is a possibility that Bolivia may belong to a specialized investment arbitration tribunal. All this as a result of the regulatory changes that Bolivia is adopting and therefore the new position of our State in the face of a scenario of investment arbitration. Alternatively, in order to support the aforementioned, an analysis of legal security and investment was carried out, due to their importance in the present work. In order to conclude as a response to the main objective, it was determined whether it is possible for Bolivia to belong to and participate in a specialized investment arbitration tribunal, all because, in some limited way, the regulations support it.
